Terms of service
Last updated October 25, 2026.
StoryPacket is owned and operated by SPARK DIGITAL GROUP LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). StoryPacket is free, and you use it at your own risk. By running a check, you agree to these terms. StoryPacket is for people 18 and over.
What StoryPacket does
Proof, our AI editing assistant, reads a story you send and flags possible problems, such as style issues and claims to verify. It also suggests text, such as headlines and a meta description.
AI can be wrong
Proof uses AI models. It can miss errors, and it can flag something that is correct. In the app, before your first check, you confirm this statement: “I understand StoryPacket is an AI tool. It won’t catch every error and can be wrong. I’m responsible for checking and publishing.”
You check and publish
Review every finding and suggestion before you publish. You are responsible for checking them and for what you publish. Keep a person in charge of the final story.
Proof only suggests
Proof never publishes anything and never changes your story. It shows findings and suggestions in a report, and you decide what to use.
Your stories and uploads
Send only stories and documents you have the right to share. We delete each story, its report and any documents uploaded for it 30 days after we receive them. Deletion runs once a day, so it can take up to a day longer. AI providers and our other service providers handle stories under their own terms, as the privacy policy explains.
Acceptable use
Use StoryPacket only for lawful work on stories you are allowed to check. Do not try to get around our limits or security, and do not use it to harm or harass anyone. We may stop access for anyone who breaks these rules.
No warranty
StoryPacket is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it is accurate or that it is always available.
No liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, StoryPacket and SPARK DIGITAL GROUP LLC are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using StoryPacket. That includes errors Proof missed and anything you publish.
Disputes
You and we agree to resolve any dispute about StoryPacket through binding arbitration, one person at a time. Class actions and class arbitrations are not allowed. California law governs these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If the statement about AI changes, the app asks you to confirm it again.
